Sulfur Blue
by Sarah Coleman
Chunks crumbled
around the edges
as their jumbled parts
didn’t coagulate in my head to form
the home I once knew
What if
the fire had burned sulfur blue
and in missing it
had also missed
our figures
becoming
souls.
